Thursday 21st July

Getting involved with blogs and blogging is great, don't get me wrong, but how time consuming it is!   I go from page to page reading a bit here and a bit there and find myself wishing I had unlimited time just to browse.

In case you find my blog ho hum, here is a pic of a Camellia growing in our garden.  I used to be keen on takings pics but finding time to take other photos once I photograph all my jewelry creations to list online, well, I just can't find the time.

All you Facebook fans out there are very fortunate to be so FB savvy, I'm just getting my head around it's another time waster (til I get the hang of it).

I'm currently looking for people who make stuff and sell online.  So if you are reading this and want to be on here, please, let me know.

It is a new blog and it will take time to get going but, hey, we can do it together, yeah?

I'll leave you with a pic of one of our beautiful native birds eating seed out of a friend's hand during a visit to Walhalla early in the year.  For those of you who don't know, Walhalla is an old disused mining town in country Victoria.

Don't forget about my  offer of a free rose ring or flower bell earrings, here's the link

Email me at atouchofvintage@hotmail.com regarding the complimentary ring or earrings that I'm offering to one of the first 25 people who join my blog, thank you.

My First Day Blog

FREE GIFT
OF A FILIGREE ADJUSTABLE RING AS PER COLOURS BELOW OR A PAIR OF YUMMY BELL FLOWER EARRINGS AS PER PHOTO BELOW.  Email me on atouchofvintage1@hotmail.com for any info about this offer or to stake your claim as being one of the first 25 people to join the blog and comment.  Thank you!

Hello to all you blog readers out there, this is my first blog and I hope I can amuse and entertain you enough so you want to keep reading my blog.

Ok, well you may think, "are you writing something I will be interested in?"  Good question, I intend my blog to be about people, especially the people who sell online.  I'll be asking sellers of all kinds of goods how they started, why they started, when they do it, do they have another day job outside of the home? And so on.

I'm an online seller myself, I have jewelry on 3 sites, and I'm starting to use Facebook, Sense of Fashion to list my jewelry.   I'm way behind in the Facebook Stakes and on a steep learning curve on mastering Facebook.

Apart from making jewelry, I like to cook, garden, sightsee, read and knit to name a few interests, however, my online shops and listing items and all that that entails takes up heaps of my time.  I'm married with an adult daughter living at home and I don't work outside the home any more.  However, my darling husband and I do 3 small local paper deliveries a week to help keep us fit.

My online shops are www.etsy.com/shop/JoolsToDroolOver and www.madeit.com.au/SweetieYumYum

Jewelry at reasonable prices

As a special introductory offer, Sweetie Yum Yum's shop would like to give a free gift of a  filigree adjustable ring or a pair of yummy bell flower earrings (as per the above pic) to a person to be selected out of the first 25 people to leave a comment on my blog.
